Introduction

We are off to.... is our Blog to allow family, friends, and others that are interested to follow us on our extended RV travels.

We aren't full time RVers but like to take extended trips of a month or more as often as we can. We prefer public agency campgrounds like State and National Parks, US Forest Service, etc. We do use some RV Parks if they are the closest or most convenient place to things we want to see or do.

We will attempt to provide information on the various campgrounds we stay in, things to do in the area, and pictures of what we see.

Sandy, OR 6/10-12

Note: As we had been without cell or WiFi to do the blog until last night we will catch things up as time permits.

We have planned to stop and see good friends in Sandy, OR the last few years after the Rally but we either had a strong urge to head home or our friends had some medical problems.  This year to make sure that didn't happen again we planned it for the beginning of our trip.

We got delayed in our departure so were only able to spend a couple of night with them.  All the same it was great to see them and we had a good time visiting and catching up.

Their home is on a bluff that overlooks the Sandy River and faces Mount Hood.  What a view.

We had a great time and were certainly well fed.  We vowed to make sure it wasn't as long before we got together again.
