Introduction

We are off to.... is our Blog to allow family, friends, and others that are interested to follow us on our extended RV travels.

We aren't full time RVers but like to take extended trips of a month or more as often as we can. We prefer public agency campgrounds like State and National Parks, US Forest Service, etc. We do use some RV Parks if they are the closest or most convenient place to things we want to see or do.

We will attempt to provide information on the various campgrounds we stay in, things to do in the area, and pictures of what we see.

Blue Mountain Old Time Fiddlers Show

Saturday was the car show and Wallowa Mountains Quilt show but rain dampened the car show.  Linda, Pauline and Sheryll went to the quilt show while Kevin, Al and I checked out the car show.  At first it was just sprinkling but it didn't take long for it to start raining hard.  The ladies called and said they were done with the show and would meet us for lunch just as we decided to call it quits at the car show.

We had a great lunch at R&R Drive In which has great burgers, shakes as well as a number of other items.

Next was the Blue Mountain Old Time Fiddlers show at the Hurricane Creek Grange hall.  The Grange ladies fixed a pork chop dinner with baked beans and a number of salads and desserts.  Dinner was at 5 pm for $10 each and the show was $5 each and started at 6 pm.

Below are a selection of videos from the show.

We didn't get any snow, just rain but it was cold and in the mid-thirties.  It should start to warm up on Monday.
