Introduction

We are off to.... is our Blog to allow family, friends, and others that are interested to follow us on our extended RV travels.

We aren't full time RVers but like to take extended trips of a month or more as often as we can. We prefer public agency campgrounds like State and National Parks, US Forest Service, etc. We do use some RV Parks if they are the closest or most convenient place to things we want to see or do.

We will attempt to provide information on the various campgrounds we stay in, things to do in the area, and pictures of what we see.

Dining, Shopping and Quilting

We have gone to Vali's Restaurant several nights for dinner.  They are open Wednesday thru Sunday and serve only one entree per night. Most are Hungarian dishes and are delicious.  We've had Chicken Kiev, Pork Schnitzel, Hungarian Goulash with fry bread, Chicken Paprika and tomorrow will be Ribeye Steak.  They also prepare great pastries and desserts, which means we won't be any thinner when leaving here.

There were 8 of us for dinner but 5 walked ahead to return to the campground.

Today the ladies went into Joseph to check out all the shops.  As it required a lot of walking, Maridee didn't join them.

Park at the River event cabin.  While we are here it is more commonly called the quilters cabin.  The ladies consider their time here as a Quilt Retreat.

Maridee isn't a quilter so Rich saves a lot of money.  She is spending her time working on genealogy.

This is the view from the Cabin of the overflow camping sites and the river.  Tough scenery to have to look at.
