Introduction

We are off to.... is our Blog to allow family, friends, and others that are interested to follow us on our extended RV travels.

We aren't full time RVers but like to take extended trips of a month or more as often as we can. We prefer public agency campgrounds like State and National Parks, US Forest Service, etc. We do use some RV Parks if they are the closest or most convenient place to things we want to see or do.

We will attempt to provide information on the various campgrounds we stay in, things to do in the area, and pictures of what we see.

June 1st, Beverly Beach SP, OR

We spent most of the day on the road and picking up a few item in Newport. When we arrived at Berverly Beach State Park it was about 2:30-3 pm so we got set up in the site we will have for the night. Tomorrow we will move to a full hookup site near the beach that we had originally reserved when we planned to arrive on Sunday.

Again great weather, clear skies, reasonably warm temps, with some wind. The wind died down this evening.

We connected with Linda's iPhone, got our emails, and then tried to go on the web. SLOW... not even 3G service here so any posting will be limited to text until we can find 3g or 4g service or a location in Newport that has Wi-Fi.
So, we will update as soon as we can.

Our site.

The foliage along a tiny creek in the back of our site.

Views in both directions in front of our site.

The sand castle that Sadie built.

Looking south towards Yaquina Head and Lighthouse.

We had to go into Newport to get 3G cell service so we could upload the pictures.
